Commercial manager, Derek Bain, at ACT Construction (UK) Ltd, is taking part in an impressive charity spinathon this weekend.
The keen cyclist will join 72 people cycling 26 miles each in The Ibrox Big Spinathon in aid of the Rangers Charity Foundation.
The charity aims to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Scotland and across the world.
Worthy causes include Glasgow City Mission, Simon Community, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Scottish Autism, three services-related charities and Unicef, the world’s leading children’s charity as their charity partners.
The Spinathon will be held at Glasgow’s Ibrox stadium on a static spin bike Derek’s “slot” is on Saturday evening.
He said: “I have a three-hour window in which I have to ride a marathon distance on the static bike.
“I have ridden a lot of miles outdoors this summer and so I am looking forward to taking part in this very worthwhile charity challenge.”
Please show your support by sponsoring the spinathon if you can.
