Ken Godsman

Ken is responsible for the overall strategy, management and monitoring of ACT’s activities. He also has a close interest in the company’s commercial and financial departments.

Despite overseeing a busy company, Ken takes personal pride in his hands-on approach to management. He is involved in every ACT project, from initial talks to smooth delivery, and advises on budget costs, build details and specification, among other criteria.

Ken makes it his business to know and understand the progress of each ACT project.

Experience & qualifications

Ken graduated from the Glasgow College of Building & Printing in 1986 with a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying. In 1995, Ken was appointed managing director of a cold store contracting organisation and has worked in this industry ever since. In 2000, he formed ACT.

Ken is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Institute of Refrigeration. He previously sat on the Scottish Committee of the Institute of Refrigeration for 10 years.
