Scott is the day-to-day point of contact and manager for clients, design teams, project teams and ACT office staff. He also coordinates and monitors all in-house trades and subcontractors.
Scott takes great pride in ensuring ACT projects are delivered on time and to budget, as well as to a high standard of quality and safety.
In addition, Scott is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reviewing industry-standard health and safety, LPS and security rated accreditations for ACT. He has overall control of the company’s health and safety management.
Experience & qualifications
Scott graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh with an honours degree in Building in 1996 and went directly into the industry as an estimator. He then progressing to contract management and joined ACT as Construction Director at its inception in 2000.
He has more than 15 years of experience as a construction manager and director and in particular, his experience within the hygienic and fire-rated partitioning market is vast.
He has worked on numerous large-scale projects including those for Robert Wiseman & Sons, Arla Foods PLC, Shetland Catch, RBS and Equinix.
Scott also holds a relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.
In his spare time, Scott is a keen mountain biker and particularly enjoys riding trails with his young son.
