To date, the Arla Food dairy project in Aylesbury is ACT’s biggest job to date. The contact was announced in the national press and it has recently been completed.

ACT were engaged by Caddick Construction to supply and install composite panel walling throughout their new dairy and distribution facility, the largest of its kind in Europe, and a project worth £4 million.

Hygienic and temperature controlled areas were created throughout the building using mineral wool panels, which also provided fire rated compartmentalisation where required. In excess of 60,000m2 of composite panel was installed.

Main areas included a 8-line filling hall, production and distribution chills, CIP areas, blow mould and laboratories. More than 270 doors, insulated, rapid rise and GRP were installed throughout the facility.
